Subscribing to Ideas
With the new “Follow” feature, users can subscribe to specific ideas and, once activated, receive automatic notifications about relevant updates, such as new comments or status changes.
Changes for editors:
Editors can activate or deactivate the follow feature centrally, but can no longer configure it individually for specific use cases. This simplifies administration and ensures consistent user behaviour.
Auto-follow when function is activated:
- Idea authors automatically follow their own ideas.
- Comment authors automatically follow the idea they have commented on.
New filter function for users:
An additional filter allows users to filter their subscribed ideas in a targeted manner – for a quick overview of the content they are actively following.

Comment function for editors
Editors can now write and view comments on ideas directly in the back office – without having to access the front end. This enables the complete management and discussion of ideas even in scenarios where visibility in the front end is restricted to authors.

Enhanced Sharing Option
The new, dynamic “Share” button makes sharing ideas much easier. Internal and enhanced sharing are now combined in a single button that automatically adapts to the device and configuration.
Details:
- Editors can activate/deactivate enhanced sharing in the configuration.
- On mobile devices, the native share dialogue is used.
- On desktops, a copyable link appears or the option to share the idea within the platform.

Bugfixes
Comment access for editors.
Editors can now easily comment even with restricted status visibility. The authorisation check (canViewIdea) is no longer applied in the back office, which prevents errors when commenting and changing statuses.
